Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 live photos appear

Following the leak of the blurry Galaxy Z Fold 2 image last week, the upcoming foldable device showed its face in another less clear photo.
This photo of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 posted on Twitter confirms some details about the new device. The first is the name "Galaxy Z Fold 25G", which will be displayed on the initial screen when the phone starts.
The predecessor of the device was referred to as "Galaxy Fold", but after that, Samsung also released the Galaxy Z Flip. The name "Galaxy Z Fold 2" seems to confirm that Samsung uses "Z" as an identifier for its foldable devices, just as "S" is an identifier for Samsung's traditional flagship product series.
Another detail confirmed by the image is that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will place a punch-hole selfie camera centered on the top right side of the display. The original Galaxy Fold had two selfie cameras in a notch in the upper right corner of its main display, but the Galaxy Z Fold 2 looks like it will use a punch hole function and give you more screen space.
Unfortunately, the photo only shows the startup screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, and the logo surprises it a bit, so we can't see the main display of the phone. Rumor has it that the main screen will be a 7.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is higher than the Galaxy Fold's 7.3-inch 60Hz main display. According to reports, the external display of the Z Fold 2 will also be larger, measuring 6.23 inches, while the external screen of the Galaxy Fold is only 4.6 inches.
Samsung will hold an event on August 5, and it is expected that Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be officially unveiled with Note 20, Tab S7, Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live.
