True wireless charging! South Korea develops infrared wireless charging with a working distance of several meters

   Recently, the research team of Sejong University in South Korea successfully developed an infrared-based wireless charging technology for mobile phones. This infrared charging uses high power and infrared light generated by semiconductor optical amplifiers. It is a true long-distance wireless charging technology. The working distance can reach several meters or more, and there is almost no energy loss during the transfer process. Select different bands to charge multiple electronic devices at the same time. The researcher said that the advent of infrared charging technology means that the Korean industry has a technical solution that can respond to Huawei's laser charging technology.
   The current mainstream wireless charging technology is not actually a true wireless charging, because the wireless charger also needs the base to connect to the power supply, and the mobile phone needs to be attached to the wireless charger, which cannot really meet the needs of users for wireless charging. Earlier, Huawei submitted a patent. The company has developed a true wireless charging technology based on lasers, which can charge devices at medium and long distances through laser beams.
