Apple releases iOS 14.6: Brings two new features to support all iPhones

 Apple today released an updated version of iOS 14.6, which is applicable to all models of iPhone, including iPhone 6s and newer versions. Although not a major update, it does include two new features, which were released by Apple in April.


   One of the two functions is to support Apple Card Family. This feature enables families to establish a family sharing group, allowing two people to share an Apple card, track purchases, manage consumption, and jointly establish credit. Parents can also share Apple cards with their children, and there are optional spending restrictions and controls. This feature is currently only available in the United States.

  IOS14.6 also adds support for Apple podcast subscriptions. This feature allows podcast listeners in 170 countries to subscribe to the exclusive premium subscription of Apple Podcasts in podcasts, which includes various benefits such as ad-free listening, access to additional content, and early or exclusive access to new series. Studios and media companies that currently provide premium subscription services include Tenderfoot TV, Pushkin Industries, Radiotopia from PRX, QCODE, NPR, Los Angeles Times, Sports, Sony Music Entertainment, etc.


In addition, iOS 14.6 also adds some AirTag and Find My related changes, including the Lost Mode option, adding email addresses instead of phone numbers for AirTag and Find My accessories, AirTag will display some parts when using NFC-enabled devices The phone number of the blocked user. Finally, voice control users can also unlock their iPhone for the first time after restarting and use only their voice.

   In addition to iOS 14.6, Apple also released iPadOS 14.6, macOS 11.4, watchOS 7.5, tvOS 14.6 and HomePod OS 14.6.
