Samsung Electronics announced its third-quarter financial report: revenue of 73.98 trillion won and net profit of 12.29 trillion won

 On October 28, Samsung Electronics released its third quarter financial report this year.


Data show that Samsung Electronics’ revenue for the quarter was 73.98 trillion won, an increase of 10% year-on-year; operating profit was 15.82 trillion won, an increase of 28.04% year-on-year, the second highest in history; net profit was 12.29 trillion won, an increase of 31.3% year-on-year .

By business, Samsung Electronics’ consumer electronics business revenue was 14.10 trillion won and operating profit was 0.76 trillion won; the mobile segment, including mobile phone business, had revenue of 28.42 trillion won and operating profit of 3.36 trillion won; including The equipment solutions division including the chip business had revenue of 35.09 trillion won and operating profit of 11.58 trillion won; Harman had revenue of 2.40 trillion won and operating profit of 0.15 trillion won.
