The TOP10 downloads of the world's most popular mobile applications are released: TikTok is still strong!

A few days ago, Sensor Tower store intelligence released the latest data, and Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok performed quite well!

Sensor Tower information shows that in January 2022, Douyin and its overseas version of TikTok will become the champion of the global mobile application (non-game) download list with nearly 67 million downloads, an increase of 7.1% compared with January 2021. Among them, the download volume of Douyin accounted for 14.7%, and the download volume of TikTok in the US market accounted for 10.7%.


The complete list of the top 10 most popular mobile apps by downloads in the world is shown in the figure above. Instagram ranked second with more than 57 million downloads, an increase of 32.3% compared to January last year. It is reported that India is the largest market for the app downloads, accounting for 35.4%, followed by Brazil, accounting for 6.2%. In addition, the other 3 apps in the top five are Facebook, WhatsApp and Shopee in order, and apps such as ZOOM and CapCut also successfully made the list.

It is reported that the number of downloads only counts the App Store and Google Play, excluding third-party Android markets in China and other regions.
